Sylvia Duckworth - Connect, Collaborate, Create.
This week I explored Sylvia Duckworth's website, and I'm here to tell you if you have ever thought about possibly creating a website Sylvia's is the place to visit for inspiration. A little about Sylvia is that she is from Canada, she has over 30 years of experience teaching in public and independent schools. Sylvia also is a sketchnoter, AIM French teacher, Tech Coach, Google certified Innovator and Trainer, Apple teacher and Apple Distinguished educator. If you're curious about what any of those things are she has either posts about them or individual blogs for each. Not only does Sylvia know what she's doing as far as being actively on the internet but she has several social media pages that are full of inspiring and helpful posts. First is her twitter, where you can find examples of her sketchnotes and different tweets and retweets about posts and events involving ed. tech. Next is her pinterest where you can find even more sketchnotes, along with a ton of other boards including Books she loves, Style posts, Short haircuts she likes and many more! I myself am an avid Instagram user and so is Sylvia! On her instagram you just get a peek into what she's doing and some of the people who are by her side at the time. Sylvia also has a couple of blogs, a google+ account, and a youtube channel. You can find links to all of them on her website under the "My other sites" tab. I think the coolest thing about Sylvia is that she says she loves interacting with other educators so if you ever want to reach out to her you can email her at [email protected].
