Pages Badge
This past weekend you could find me back on the Apple Teacher website learning about Pages. Now I personally haven't written a whole lot on pages so I learned quite a bit. First thing I learned about is also the first thing you are presented with when starting a document on Pages. That is the templates option, first thing you need to know is that you don't have to choose a template you can start with just a blank page. But the best thing about if you do choose a template, your document is still completely your own and you can replace the graphics or just plain delete them if they don't fit with your vision of what you are creating.
Next up is the commenting feature. You can add comments to anything, objects, text, or table cells. You just select what you want to comment on and then tap to comment, leave yourself a note or reminder about where you were going or what you might want to look back over later and that's it. Thinking it might be too much of a hassle to get rid of them later? Nope! To delete a comment you just go to the comment marker and delete it.
I myself like to know how much I've done or written on a document and pages offers that also. You just click more and you can click on the spelling and word count and have it shown to you.
Now how can you share your projects or collaborate on them? Pages has the answer for that too. To send your project you will just send a copy and there are multiple ways you can send it, including as a pages, PDF, Microsoft word, or even as an ePub book that the recipient can open in iBooks! So that's cool for the format but you might find yourself asking HOW do I send it? You can send it through mail, messages, or I personally like airdrop, and other ways too. Then as far as collaborations go you can edit them in real time using iCloud.com.
