Google Communities in the Classroom
I recently explored google+ communities and I was pleasantly surprised at how much there is to explore. Let's start with some of my favorite communities so far, first is Elementary Educators. In this google+ community I liked that you can find different tips and templates no matter what your content area is. The next google+ community I really enjoyed was more specific to my content area which is math, it was called "Mathematics Education (K-12)." I liked this one because not only is it about my content area but it also has all the grades so if you do have students needing a challenge you could probably find resources on here to use. My last recommendation for a community you should definitely check out is called "Creativity in the Common Core Classroom."
So not only can you follow communities but you can also follow specific people, this feature I didn't enjoy as much as the communities. However, I did find one user I really liked and you should definitely check out her page, her name is Lisa Durff. Her page had so much to look at including different pictures, the one below is actually from her page. But her page also gave you different articles you can check out. Two articles I found and not only enjoyed but found as great knowledge resources are "5 Social Media Uses We Must Teach in Schools" and "5 Simple Ideas That Can Transform Your Teaching."
If you still aren't impressed, here is one more resource that I found while just exploring: Guided Reading and Writing Lesson Plan Template
