Getting Started with iPads
I've used apple products all my life from iPods to MacBooks so when we were assigned to read an iBook to learn about iPads I didn't expect to learn a whole lot, but boy was I pleasantly surprised by all of the information I did learn in the Apple Teacher Learning Center. Starting with the multitasking, where I learned about using slide over and split view. Slide over is all about how you can open a second app without closing your main one. Then there's split view which actually takes slide over a step further, because you can have two apps open and active at the same time.
Then another thing I learned were some content specific ways to use the iPad in the classroom. Such as, challenging students to try and beat Siri to the answer of an equation. Along with using it as a whiteboard replacement then air dropping the answer straight to me. And finally, different ways to assess your students using the iPad.
